Las Vegas Tours
There are many tours you can join when visiting Las Vegas. Tours are available by bus, airplane and helicopter. Consider tours like:
- Grand Canyon Tour: See Grand Canyon by helicopter and walk across the Skywalk. This tour flies over Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and extinct volcanoes before stopping at the West Rim.
- Hoover Dam Tour: Visit Hoover dam on this day-trip. Drift along the Colorado River, visit the inside of the Hoover Dam and see the river and mountains below. Children younger than eight are not allowed on this tour though, nor are guests with mobility issues.
- Vegas Strip Tours: This evening tour takes you through the Las Vegas strip in air-conditioned motor coaches. Stopping at the Bellagio, you will see the lightshows of the dancing waters, Celebrity spotting is possible when you continue to Madame Tussands at the Venetian.
- Red Rock & Valley of Fire Tours: Drive along the Red Rock Canyon, in a special 10-passenger Tour Trekker, only minutes away from the Las Vegas strip. The 13-mile drive visits the Wilson Cliffs and fossilized sand dunes of Calico Hills.
- Lake Mead and Colorado River Tours: White water rafting at its finest. On the shores of the Colorado River, you will head to Diamond Creek and then the powerful Colorado River. Enjoy a picnic lunch and take a moment to explore some waterfalls and hidden coves, carved out by millions of years of erosion. Tackle the rapids, ranging between difficulties class three and class six. Tour only available during the summer.
Free Activities to do While Visiting Las Vegas
Choose from many free attractions like:
- The Aquarium at the Silverton: A 117,000-gallon saltwater aquarium.
- Conservatory at Bellagio: Elegant arrangements of plants and flowers.
- Ethel M Chocolate Factory: Seven miles from the Strip, you can visit behind-the-scenes to see how candy-making is done.
- Fountains at Bellagio: Watch the water sway to music and changing colors in this wonderful water fountain show.
- Lion Habitat at MGM Grand: Watch the majestic cats play, toss a ball round and lick their paws at this lion habitat.
Kids Activities to do While Visiting Las Vegas
There are many fun attractions for kids and families in Las Vegas too. Choose from many adventures like:
- Adventure Canyon: Enjoy the fun log ride and participate in the inter-active games of shooting the bad guys before your journey is complete.
- Adventuredome at Circus Circus: America’s largest indoor theme park.
- CSI: The Experience: Be a CSI and investigate a mock-crime scene to solve the mystery.
- Floyd Lamb State Park: Enjoy a picnic and a hike through this park. Stocked ponds, volleyball courts and horseshoe facilities are available on this 2,040-acre park.
- Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix: Do some racing on this speedway in Gran Prix Cars, Super Stock Cars, Kiddie Cars and Go Karts.
