There are, of course, cons to shopping in the stores at Christmas:
- Overcrowded and frustrating line-ups, both in the store and parking lots

- Not getting the best price possibly since you can't compare many stores and the same product
- Buying more than you intended due to impulse buys
- Buying the same gift for someone as another person did, due to lack of selection
